Problem Description

Problems with mobile phone navigation during cycling

1.Easy to drop. 2.Difficult to hear navigational prompts in noisy environments. 3.Complex navigation information. 4. Poor endurance. Etc

Design Concept

Touch : Vibration

If it is based on the vibration of left and right handlebars to transmit navigation information, through touch instead of vision in order to achieve the target totally free the rider’s eye.

(The information such as turn left, turn right, turn around and etc, which can be assigned to two handlebars.)

Modularization Design Touch & Vision

In the entire navigation product, I will also match a navigation screen that displays simple orientation information. In order to solve the problem of uneasiness caused by the sudden absence of visual information during the adapting process to the perceived direction through vibration. But when the riders get used to receiving navigational guidance via vibration, they can choose to remove the screen and more completely liberate their eyes.

The ‘Polaris’ APP is connected to the navigation devices.

 

If you set the route in advance on the phone, you can put the phone into your bag and just follow the guidance of the navigation device.

In briefly, for example, if the cyclist needs to turn right at the next cross, the vibration frequency of the vibrating ring will be more rapid with the shortening of the distance from the cyclist to the next intersection, which means that the shorter the distance, the more frequent the vibration.
